Hotkeys for Telegram formatting

These simple hotkeys will help you make your text look more professional in no time. They are not Telegram-specific — you can use most of them in other programs and apps when working with text.

Here’s the list of options you have:

  • to make your Telegram text bold, select the text and press Ctrl (Cmd) + B on your keyboard;
  • to use italics in Telegram, select the text and press Ctrl (Cmd) + I;
  • to apply Telegram strikethrough text formatting, select the text and press Ctrl (Cmd) + Shift + X;
  • to underline your text, select it and press Ctrl (Cmd) + U;
  • to make your Telegram font monospaced, select the text and press Ctrl (Cmd) + Shift + M.

You can also add a link using hotkeys — select the text and press Ctrl (Cmd) + K.

Strumento evidenziatore su Thunderbird

 Su Thunderbird non è nativamente presente lo strumento per evidenziare il testo (il tag HTML <mark></mark>, per intenderci). Per ovviare è possibile installare l'estensione  Textmarker : "Highlighting" is achieved be changing the background colour of the selected text. To undo highlighting, hold "Shift" + click the "Mark" button to reset the selected text to the document's background colour. Quick colour selection by holding "Ctrl" + clicking the "Mark" button on windows computer. Quick colour selection by holding "Command" + clicking the "Mark" button on Mac computer. The currently active colour is displayed in the button icon. (Important remark: If the Thunderbird option "Override the colours specified by the content with my selections above:" is set to "Always", the Add-on will not work.)
